The injury thing has some merit - except that all sides have and should expect injury problems throughout the season - though I suppose we could argue that lack of squad depth has cost us a few league places.

If you'd have asked me 4 years ago I would probably have taken this position that we are in because he has basically done what has been asked of him.
Hopefully BFS was a tactical appointment to achieve a goal that has now been achieved and we can start looking at a new era under a new manager.

We were safe by end of February and last 2 seasons we were still in a relegation battle up to 2-3 games to go. We also lost our first 2 strikers for most of the 2nd half of this season which explains the dip in form....apparently
He has a good argument.

The only "credit" he deserves is for his ability to stay in a position well beyond his capabilities when he is aeons beyond his "best before" date.

I can settle this. It was a goal from open play. Rocastle fell over after treading on the ball, and that was on the half way line. The ball lay at Brady's feet like a gift he did refuse. He took off down our left from the half way line, dribbling and gaining speed. Jinked this way and that, ghosted past a couple of players, and then spanked a beauty low into the far corner, before steaming over to the Chicken Run and leaping into the crowd. The exact same part of the Chicken Run that had earlier given the Met Police a right royal kicking earlier that match.
That was a very good night, when Liam Brady earned the right to call you all know nothing gobshites, if he wants.
